For my sociopolitical topic I chose to discuss how restricting abortions is harmful to society. I am fully aware that this is controversial argument in the media today, and I plan not to argue the morality of abortions, but the effect banning abortions has on society. In the essay I plan to discuss how restricting abortions poses a threat to the family, the mothers life, as well as comparing statistics to examine the quality of life the child may have had. In addition to this I will also examine the reasons behind restricting abortions as well.
